Shock: ICE Hold Actually Honored Against Accused Child Rapist In NJ

BERGENFIELD, NJ - On November 29, police arrested Victor Coc-Chitay, 37, following an investigation which determined that the Ecuadorian national had been repeatedly sexually assaulting a pre-teen girl.

Coc-Chitay lives on Hickory Avenue, and was working for a roofing contractor at the time of his arrest.

In a news release, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office stated:

An investigation was initiated by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Bergenfield Police Department. During the investigation, it was determined that the victim was sexually assaulted by VICTOR CHITAY on more than one occasion.

Coc-Chitay has been charged with four counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault (Victim Under 13) and third-degree child endangerment. He is currently being held at the Bergen County Jail on an ICE detainer.

*Under the leadership of current governor, Phil Murphy (D), the entire state of New Jersey has effectively become a 'sanctuary' for criminal aliens. As such, county jails, statewide, do not enforce ICE detainers, no matter how heinous the charges against the illegal alien.
