Police: Illegal Alien Kidnapped, Beat Woman In New Jersey

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ – On July 24, Wallington police officers arrested Miguel Anton Perez, 47, after he reportedly took his ex-girlfriend against her will from her home in New Brunswick, brutally assaulting her along the 40-mile drive to Wallington, where the victim manages to escape.


The Guatemalan national “punched her in the back and put his hands around her neck,” according to a police report.


The Ocean Daily Voice reported:


A good Samaritan flagged down a passing Wallington police officer, who found the frantic woman at the 7-Eleven on Main Avenue speaking only Spanish, Capt. Shawn Kudlacik said.
A Passaic police officer responded to translate for the 38-year-old victim, who told police that Miguel Anton Perez, 47, grabbed her by the hair and dragged her into his car in New Brunswick.

Perez was eventually taken into custody in Hudson County.


Perez has been charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault and robbery. He is currently being held at the Bergen County Jail on an ICE detainer.
