*Upon taking office in 2019, Forsyth County Sheriff Bobby F. Kimbrough Jr. stopped honoring ICE detainers, and ended his department's contract with ICE to house illegal aliens in the county jail.
Since taking these actions, Forsyth County has become a safe haven for criminal aliens, many of whom have been released onto the streets after simply paying 10 percent of their bond to a bail-bonding company. The sad truth is that Sheriff Kimbrough Jr. has made his county more dangerous for the children of Forsyth County.
