Half A Dozen Illegal Aliens Charged With DUI In 24 Hours In One NC 'Sanctuary County'

Within a 24-hour period from May 3-4, six illegal aliens were arrested on drunk driving charges and booked into the Wake County Jail.

-Name: Adan Garcia-Gutierrez Age: 53

Date of Arrest: 05/04/2022

Charge(s): Driving While Impaired


-Name: Christian Villamar-Salinas

Age: 19

Date of Arrest: 05/03/2022

Charge(s): Driving While Impaired, Open Container of Alcohol, Operating a Vehicle with no Insurance


-Name: Pablo Botello-Gomez

Age: 44

Date of Arrest: 05/03/2022

Charge(s): Driving While Impaired


-Name: Juan Pablo Perez-Martin

Age: 28

Date of Arrest: 05/03/2022

Charge(s): Driving While Impaired


Unfortunately, due to the fact that Wake County Sheriff Gerald M. Baker since taking office on December 3, 2018, has refused to cooperate with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), all of the aforementioned suspects have been released back onto the streets, despite their immigration status.


Sheriff Baker has released many dangerous criminals back into his county, despite ICE detainers being issued against them.
