JEFFERSON PARISH, LA – On January 19, deputies arrested Cleto Montoya-Rodas, 41, after the 11-year-old victim confided in her mother that she had been raped multiple times by the suspect.
She came to her mother with the life-shattering account after discovering that she was, in fact, pregnant.
Her mother confronted Motoya-Rodas, and he admitted to having a sexual relationship with the young girl, but denied raping her.

Montoya-Rodas has denied vaginally raping the girl but admitted to sexually abusing her with his mouth and hands -- including inappropriate contact in the parking lot of a Walmart at 8912 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, Jefferson Parish Assistant District Attorney Tonia William said during a bond hearing in Magistrate Court.
The illegal alien is a friend of the family and frequently had access to the victim.
Montoya-Rodas was charged with first-degree rape and sexual battery. He is currently being held at the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center on an ICE detainer.
