EDINBURG, TX - On May 6, agents attached to the McAllen Border Patrol Station apprehended a previously deported sex offender.
The criminal alien, Isaias Hernandez-Bautista, 60, was deported on February 1, 2018, after completing his sentence in an Illinois state prison.
Isaias Hernandez-Bautista “a Mexican national who was sentenced to three years’ incarceration in 2012 for aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a child under 13 years of age,” according to a U.S. Customs and Border Protection press release.
The illegal alien was charged and convicted in McHenry County, Illinois.
Hernandez-Bautista is being held in federal custody and is facing charges of illegally reentering the United States subsequent to removal for an aggravated felony conviction.
