RANDOLPH COUNTY, NC – On August 24, police in Welford, South, Carolina, arrested Victor Manuel Ramirez, 33, who had been wanted in North Carolina, since mid-April for the alleged rape of a young girl.
The same day of his arrest, Ramirez was extradited from the Spartanburg County Jail in South Carolina on the outstanding warrant.
The Courier-Tribune reported:
In 2010, Ramirez was convicted for taking indecent liberties with a minor, attempted second degree rape and sexual offense in South Carolina.
Ramirez has been charged with statutory sex offense with a child. He is currently being held at the Randolph County Jail on $500,000 secured bond.
