YOUNGSVILLE, NC - On January 15, police arrested Salvador Sanchez-Aguilar, 36, after he reportedly crossed the center line on Park Avenue, and crashed head-on into another vehicle.
The other car was driven by Brittany Storm Hancock, 21, and she had her two-year-old daughter, Viviana, with her.
Hancock was pronounced dead at a WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh, and her daughter was seriously injured.
Sanchez-Aguilar also had three children inside his vehicle at the time of the crash, according to police.
Sanchez-Aguilar was charged with DWI, felony death by vehicle, three counts of felony serious bodily injury by vehicle, two counts of negligent child abuse causing serious bodily injury, two counts of failure to secure passenger under 16, driving without a license and reckless driving to endanger. He is currently being held at the Franklin County Jail without bond.
This is at least the second time the illegal alien has been charged with driving while impaired, according to court documents.
