NC 'Sanctuary Sheriff' Has Released Illegal Alien Charged With Repeatedly Molesting Little Girl

WENDELL, NC - On Sunday, sheriff’s deputies arrested Jose Alberto Maya-Orozco, 42, following an investigation which determined that he had repeatedly sexually abused a young girl, over several months.

In a press release, the Wake County Sheriff’s Office stated:

Wake County Investigators were first notified in October after the victim completed a school assignment in which she disclosed that she had been inappropriately touched by the suspect. Following the victim’s statement, and through investigative means, Orozco was arrested for the alleged illegal acts.
The Selma Police Department has also been notified that Orozco may have committed similar offenses in their jurisdiction.

Maya-Orozco has been charged with three counts of indecent liberties with a child. He was booked into the Wake County Jail on a mere $45,000 bond.

Less than 48 hours after his arrest, Maya-Orozco was released back onto the streets of Wake County.

*Despite his illegal status in this country and the serious nature of his charges, Maya-Orozco was allowed to bond-out after coming up with 10 percent of his bond (To pay a bail-bonding service, in this case $4,500.).

Since taking office on December 3, 2018, Wake County Sheriff Gerald M. Baker has refused to cooperate with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and has released many dangerous criminals back into his county, despite ICE detainers being issued against them.
