Media Blackout: NYC Robbery/Murder Suspect Is Actually Criminal Alien Living On Welfare

NEW YORK CITY, NY - On Friday, Winston Glynn, 30, was formally arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court for the killing of 19-year-old Kristal Bayron-Nieves. The teen was shot to death while working her shift at the Burger King located on the corner of East 116th Street and Lexington Avenue.

On January 9, Glynn reportedly walked into the fast food restaurant, assaulted a customer, as well as the store manager and robbed Bayron-Nieves at gunpoint. After handing over the money from the register, she was shot.

Bayron-Nieves was taken to Metropolitan Hospital, where she was soon pronounced dead.

He got away with $100.

During Friday’s court proceeding, Assistant District Attorney Dafna Yoran told Judge Jay Weiner:

He intentionally killed a 19-year-old Burger King employee in a premeditated gunpoint robbery… He also pistol whipped two others, who were present – including a 60-year-old female manager.

Shortly after his arrest on Friday morning, Glynn shouted profanities at onlookers outside of the 25th Precinct House.

“Where’s our reparations for four hundred years of f–king slavery!” the suspect yelled.
“F–k you all!” he yelled, according to a video taken at the scene by a Post photographer.

According to several witnesses, he also shouted "America is gonna burn!"

Glynn was charged with first-degree murder criminal use of a firearm, criminal possession of a weapon, robbery. He is currently being held at the Rikers Island Correctional Facility without bond.

The Jamaican national has a long criminal record and has been arrested at least four times in the 'sanctuary' city of New York. His last arrest appears to have taken place in 2020, when he was charged with several counts of assault and weapons charges.

*While this case has received a great deal of attention from the mainstream press, the fact that the suspect is in the country illegally from Jamaica has all but been ignored. The only media outlets that have reported his immigration status are The New York Post and Radio Jamaica News (and The Post does not refer to his illegal status).

Otherwise, you would have to search for that information in the Rikers Island booking log.

Not only is he a foreign national in the country illegally, but at the time of the murder, he was living in a Days Inn in Queens that operates as a homeless shelter at the public’s expense, and was receiving food stamps as well.

Why are criminal aliens receiving public aid, meant for struggling Americans?
