HOUSTON, TX - On Tuesday, Jesus Andrade Lizama, 53, admitted inside a Harris County courtroom that he repeatedly raped a 9-year-old boy that he was babysitting. The assaults took place every Saturday, five weeks in a row.
In a press release, Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg stated:
During one episode, Lizama dragged the boy from his bedroom and covered his mouth when he tried to scream for help, court records show. Lizama also told the boy that he would kill the boy or his sibling if he told anyone about the abuse.
The victim eventually confided in his parents about the unspeakable abuse he was suffering, and they immediately contacted the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
Lizama has been held in the Harris County Jail since his arrest in October 2017.
He pleaded guilty to aggravated sexual assault of a child and was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
