Illegal Alien Charged With Stabbing Pregnant Woman To Death In SC

ROCK HILL, SC - On May 17, police arrested Pedro Mondragon-Ramirez, 41, after he reportedly stabbed to death a woman and the baby she was carrying, a day earlier.

On May 16, officers arrived at a residence in the 500 block of Iris Circle in response to a stabbing.

Officers discovered 37-year-old Leonor Alpizar in a pool of blood. 

She was transported to a local hospital, where she and the baby died.

Mondragon-Ramirez fled the scene, stealing Alpizar’s car.

Mondragon-Ramirez has been charged with murder, death or injury of a child in utero due to the commission of a violent crime, and possession of a knife during a crime of violence. He is currently being held at the York County Jail on an ICE detainer. 

A few days after the double-homicide, Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) stated: 

An illegal immigrant murdered a pregnant woman in South Carolina. This is what open borders get us: death and chaos…Get these criminals off our streets and out of our country.
