CULLMAN COUNTY, AL – On Tuesday sheriff's deputies arrested Jesus Cortes Sandoval, 63, following an investigation conducted by the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Cullman Advocacy Center.
Initially, two girls both under the age of 12, reported the abuse.
The investigation is ongoing, and detectives have reason to believe the Mexican national may have assaulted several more children.
Sandoval has been charged with two counts of sexually abusing children under the age of 12. He is currently being held at the Cullman County Detention Center on an ICE hold.
