BOONE, NC – On January 28, police arrested Jose Torres Jimenez, 38, at his residence on East King Street.
A warrant was issued for his arrest for committing a “lewd and lascivious act upon the body” of a girl under the age of 16, according to charging documents.
Jimenez was charged with indecent liberties with a child, and is currently being held at the Watauga County Jail on $50,000 bail.
The suspect is scheduled to appear in court on February 22.
