PASSAIC, NJ - On Wednesday, police arrested Pedro Perez-Guadalupe, 42, after he repeatedly sexually abused two young girl s at his residence, according to police.
A middle school student student reported to her teacher that she and another girl had been repeatedly sexually assaulted by Perez-Guadalupe.
In a press release, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes stated:
On April 6, 2022, the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit was contacted by school staff members to report that a child disclosed being sexually assaulted in the past by the Mr. Perez-Guadalupe. Prosecutor’s Office Detectives were able to interview multiple witnesses including an alleged victim who disclosed being sexually assaulted by Mr. Perez-Guadalupe on multiple occasions at a residence in Passaic. During the investigation it was also discovered that a second child disclosed being sexually assaulted by Mr. Perez-Guadalupe on multiple occasions at a residence in Passaic.
Perez-Guadalupe was charged with two counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, one count of second-degree sexual assault, first-degree kidnaping, endangering a child, and hindering apprehension. He is currently being held at the Passaic County Jail without bond.
