EVANSVILLE, IN - On March 10, Heriberto De Jesus Hernandez-Zuluaga, 49, was arrested after he reportedly sexually assaulted a child.
Detectives were alerted by child advocacy workers at Holly’s House, where the victim sought help.
The sexual abuse took place several times over a number of years, according to police.
Hernandez-Zuluaga of Evansville was charged with child molestation, child solicitation, sexual misconduct with a minor and sexual battery. He is currently being held at the Vanderburgh County Jail on an ICE detainer.
Under questioning, the illegal alien told detectives that he knew he would “spend 50 years in jail” for what he had done, according to court documents.
