*Despite the serious nature of the charges against him, and his illegal status in this country, Jose was released after coming up with 10 percent of his bond ($4,500), back into the community.
Upon taking office in 2019, Forsyth County Sheriff Bobby F. Kimbrough Jr. stopped honoring ICE detainers, and ended his department's contract with ICE to house illegal aliens in the county jail.
So, now his victim and her family will simply have to wait and see if this suspect shows up for his court date.
