ASHEBORO, NC – On Thursday, Randolph County sheriff's deputies arrested Luis Armando Diaz-Otero, 32, after an investigation determined that he created multiple files depicting child pornography and distributed them, according to a police report.
The Courier-Tribune reported:
Diaz-Otero is a registered sex offender for a previous conviction from another state, according to a press release from the Randolph County Sheriff's Office.
Diaz-Otero was charged with first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and nine counts of second- degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He is currently being held at the Randolph County Detention Center on $350,000 bail and an ICE detainer.
He is scheduled to appear in court on January 29.
