Illegal Alien Charged With Murder In Va.

Chesapeake, Va. - On Saturday, August 16, around 11 pm, police found 28-year-old Gilberto Mendoza Ramos, lying on Harvard Drive.
In a press release, the Chesapeake Police Department stated:
On August 16, 2025, at approximately 10:44 PM, the Chesapeake Police Department received a 911 call regarding an injured person in the 2600 block of Harvard Drive. Upon the arrival of the Chesapeake Police Department and Emergency Medical Services, the injured person was found to have a single gunshot wound. Life-saving measures were started, and the victim was transferred to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased from his injury.
Four days later, police arrested Cesar Anibal Ramirez Roque, 21, and charged him with second-degree murder and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. He is currently being held at the Chesapeake City Jail on an ICE detainer.
His next court appearance is set for October 22.
