GREENE COUNTY, NC - On Friday, deputies arrested Jose Martinez, 49, after responding to an assault call at 974 Pope Farm Road.
Upon arrival, the deputies discovered the body of Jose Sanadoval.
Martinez made no attempt to flee the scene, and was quickly taken into custody.
Martinez has been charged with murder and is currently being held at the Green County Jail without bond.
His next court appearance is scheduled for August 28th.
