ARIVACA, AZ - On Friday, U.S. Border Patrol agents working out of the Tucson sector encountered a group of Mexican nationals. During processing, they discovered one was a convicted felon and registered sex offender.
In a news release, the U.S. Border Patrol Tucson Sector stated:
Records revealed a migrant in the group, Antonio Ramirez-Garcia, was convicted of felony aggravated sexual battery in Kansas.
He is facing a charge of felony re-entry after deportation, and if convicted, could receive up to 20 years in federal prison.
