On December 13, the Martin County Sheriff's Office released the following statement:
DETECTIVES SEARCHING FOR ACCUSED CHILD RAPIST, NEED PUBLIC’S ASSISTANCE
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating 37-year old Jesus Tamanis-Peralta, a man wanted for the sexual battery of a child.
Tamanis-Peralta, who is an undocumented individual from Mexico who was residing in Martin County, fled when he suspected law enforcement was looking for him. He was last seen yesterday (Thursday, December 12th) in Bradenton Florida and is on the move in an attempt to evade capture.
Please share this post statewide, including all attached images of his clothing, jewelry and hat. The suspect also has a tattoo depicting “Old English” style “B” on his upper right arm.
If you have information about Tamanis-Peralta, know of any acquaintances, or see him, please call the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, or call 911. There is an active warrant for his arrest.
