DOTHAN, AL – On July 27, a jury returned a guilty verdict against Emiliano Rodriguez, 43, for molesting a 15-year-old girl in 2018.
The illegal alien was indicted in September 2018, after she reported the ongoing abuse to her mother.
The sexual assaults occurred between December 2016 and May 7, 2018.
WTVY reported:
[Assistant District Attorney Mark Johnson]believes testimony from medical experts swayed jurors but, in his opinion, the most convincing testimony came from the victim.
“She stood up there and faced down the person that did this to her,” Johnson said.
Rodriguez is currently being held in the Houston County Jail, awaiting sentencing. The Mexican national faces up to 20 years in prison.
