Illegal Alien Charged With DUI In Va., Released With ICE Hold

Updated: Aug 28, 2023

Name: Francisco Benedicto Poron-Cuc Date of Arrest: 08/13/2023 Location: Stafford County Charge(s): DUI, Driving Without a License

Poron-Cuc was booked into the Rappahannock Regional Jail on $2,000 bond and an ICE detainer. On August 15, he was formally arraigned in court, where the charges were upheld.

The next day, by phone, it was confirmed that he was being held on the ICE detainer.

However, despite the immigration hold, he has since been released.

This was not a decision by a local judge, nor sheriff. But by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Since it was the illegal alien's first offense, it is considered a "federal misdemeanor," and as such, the Biden administration will not deport him.

Where this drunk driver is now, is anyone's guess. He will likely not show up again until his next arrest. Perhaps, the next time he drives drunk, he will injure or kill someone.

And, that will be on the ever-increasingly bloody hands of the Biden administration, and in particular, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
