Illegal Alien Caught With $1 Million Worth Of Cocaine, Meth and Fentanyl

CLINTON, NC – On March 26, Sampson County sheriff's deputies executed a search warrant at a house in the 100 block of Hunt Lane, after receiving several tips and complaints about suspicious activity where Rumulo Medrano, 32, resided.


The search yielded 44 pounds of crystal methamphetamine, 16 pounds of cocaine, 1,221 fentanyl pills, four rifles, two handguns and $38,000 in cash, according to court documents.


The drugs had a combined street value of $1.1 million.


Medrano was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in cocaine, maintaining a dwelling for sale of a controlled substance, maintaining a vehicle for sale of a controlled substance, and five counts of possession of a firearm by felon. He is currently being held at the Sampson County Jail on $1 million bond.
