BOWLING GREEN, KY - On Wednesday, police arrested Orlando Bejarando-Diaz, 34, after being called to a local medical office, where a blood test confirmed that a 12-year-old girl was pregnant.
The girl, who has only been in this country for nine months, told officers that she had been raped many times over the last several months.
And, who is the accused?
The man turned out to be her own father.
Not only is the girl pregnant, but she also recently gave birth to another baby at home, who was apparently stillborn, according to a police report.
That baby was reportedly placed inside a bag and thrown into a bedroom closet.
Bejarando-Diaz was charged with first-degree rape, incest and tampering with physical evidence. He is currently being held at the Warren County Detention Center on an ICE detainer.
