Three Illegal Aliens Charged With Cocaine Trafficking In NC

BENSON, NC – On March 30, undercover narcotics agents with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office, the NC State Bureau of Investigation and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration executed a search warrant 90 Woodshed Lane, following a multi-agency trafficking investigation.


Nearly eight pounds of cocaine, two pounds of marijuana, nine grams of crystal meth and ecstasy were discovered as a result of the search, along with a number of firearms, according to court documents.


Those arrested were:


-Juan Jose Miranda Valencia

Age: 32

Charge(s): Possession with Intent to Sell/Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance, Conspiracy to Traffic Cocaine



-Lorenzo Miranda Age: 29 Charge(s): Possession Schedule I Controlled Substance, Conspiracy to Traffic Cocaine



-Victor Reyes-Mariano

Age: 19

Charge(s): Possession with Intent to Sell/Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance, Trafficking in Cocaine



All three are currently being held at the Johnston County Jail on more than $1 million bond each and ICE detainers.
