On August 22, 23-year-old Iryna Zarutska, a Ukranian immigrant was viciously killed as she sat, minding her own business on Charlotte's light rail system.
Surveillance video captured career criminal, DeCarlos Brown Jr., 34 sneaking up behind her and slashing her neck open with a knife.
Brown has been charged with first-degree murder and is currently being held at the Mecklenburg County Jail without bond.
Brown has been arrested at least 14 times, dating back to 2011, for such crimes as felony larceny, armed robbery, assault and making death threats.
The Hindustan Times reported:
Brown served five years behind bars for armed robbery and was arrested again for assaulting his sister, months after he was released in September 2020. Brown's most recent run-in with the law came in January, when he was charged with misusing the 911 system.
According to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office booking log, Brown's arrests in that county alone, include the following:
-9/14/2022 - Assault on a Female, Injury to Real Property (released the same day) -5/3/2024 - Misuse of the 911 System (released three days later)
-4/23/2024 - Misuse of the 911 System (released the same day)
As President Trump is now using the National Guard to clean up the crime in our nation's capital, hopefully he will do this is crime-ridden cities across the country. This young woman survived the war in the Ukraine, only to have her throat slit by a simply useless, thug in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Can we please start deporting our own, home-grown terrorists?
