On March 15, Obama appointee, Judge James Boasman issued a 14-day restraining order in an attempt to prevent the Trump administration from deporting hundreds of members of the hyper-violent Venezuelan gang known as Tren de Aragua.

The Venezuelan criminal aliens, along with many MS-13 gang members were taken to El Salvador and are now imprisoned in that country.

The gang members were deported under the Alien Enemies Act of 1798, which Boasberg claimed did not apply in this case and that all of the criminals should have individual hearings.

However, Judge Boasberg may have other reasons for trying to protect these violent, foreign invaders...

His daughter, Katherine Boasberg, works for Partners for Justice, a so-called non-profit organization that assists criminals with legal services, lobbying for shorter sentences, so-called 'bail-reform,' walking criminals through the welfare system and even advocating for gang members (many of whom are illegal aliens).

The excerpt that follows can be found in a section from the Partners for Justice website entitled "Gang Documentation and Gang Injunctions Harm Communities:"

Civil gang injunctions (CGIs) are court orders that restrict the activities and movement of people who police designate as ‘gang members’. Their intended purpose is to break up gangs and reduce crime...
As it turns out, these injunctions have become largely tools by which law enforcement surveil and stigmatize targeted people of color. They create separate systems of government observation and control that almost exclusively impact Black and Brown people, making it impossible for people to live normal lives...
Reducing the harm caused by gang documentation and CGIs must be part of the movement to end mass incarceration and promote practices that actually create safety.

It turns out that Partners for Justice receives more than half of their funding from the U.S. taxpayers, including a number of grants from the now-disgraced USAID.

Interestingly, Katharine Boasberg has recently deleted all of her social media accounts, as her father has come under intense scrutiny.

Given the aforementioned information, Judge Boasberg should have recused himself from the deportation case. As it stands, he should be removed from the bench.
