DAVIDSON COUNTY, NC – On Monday, during a traffic stop, deputies discovered nearly 12 pounds of methamphetamine and several opioid pills inside the vehicle of Argenis Samuel Rivera-Alicea, 36.
A search warrant was then obtained and executed on the suspect's Lexington residence, which yielded an additional 128 grams of methamphetamine, 50 pounds of marijuana, three grams of psilocybin mushrooms, nearly four ounces of cocaine, an SKS 7.62 rifle, a Smith & Wesson M&P .380 pistol, and a .22 Cal. Revolver, according to court documents.
Rivera-Alicea is charged with two counts of trafficking meth, manufacturing meth, two counts of trafficking cocaine, manufacturing cocaine, four counts of possession with the intent to sell and distribute controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, and three counts of possession of a firearm by a felon.
He is currently being held at the Davidson County Jail on $1.5 million bond.
