While Covid-19 and Fentanyl are certainly the most disastrous Chinese export to this country, they are merely the latest in a long pattern of malicious practices exercised not only by the Chinese government but by their state-sponsored companies as well.
-In February 2020, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) updated their announcement on the recall of the heartburn medication known as Ranitidine, which is marketed under the brand name Zantac. The drug which is manufactured in China, was found to contain a known cancer-causing ingredient known as NDMA (which is used in rocket fuel and industrial softeners).
-Beginning in 2018, several drugs used to treat high blood pressure and heart ailments were recalled, including Losartan, Valsartan and Irbesartan, when it was discovered that these drugs were also contained NDMA.
The list of medications containing the carcinogen was so extensive that the FDA actually created an online list of blood pressure and heart drugs that did not contain the cancer causing agent.
Of course, the drugs were manufactured in China.
-In June 2008, the FDA warned consumers not to use toothpaste made in China, and identified 17 brands that tested positive for diethylene glycol, a product used in antifreeze. The toxic chemical, if ingested, can cause vomiting, diarrhea, kidney failure and death. Some of the brands were marketed to children.
-In March 2007, pet food companies began recalling products after it was determined that many cat and dog foods contained melamine, which is a chemical used in producing products such as resins, dry erase boards and cleaners. Testing on pet foods began as cats and dogs began suffering from kidney failure, after being fed a long list of pet foods.
There were more than 100 brands affected by this contamination, including Royal Canin, Iams, Eukanuba, Nutro Max and several store brands. By May 2007, the FDA had recorded 17,000 complaints of pets with kidney failure, and 4,000 reports of cats and dogs dying as a result.
Though the actual number of illnesses and deaths will never be known, it is estimated to be in the hundreds of thousands.
Why was the toxic chemical put into pet foods?
Because melamine can be used to provide a false reading of the protein content in foods. The intentional contamination was eventually traced back to the Xuzhou Anying Biologic Technology Development Company and Binzhou Futian Biology Technology Co. Ltd...Eventually, the Chinese government agreed to shut down both companies.
Of course, the highly contagious Coronavirus that prompted local, state and federal governments to close public schools and universities; cancel large-scale sporting events; close offices, restaurants and movie theaters; and basically bring all commerce in this country to a screeching halt, began in the city of Wuhan, China in late 2019.
However, the despotic leaders of the People’s Republic of China made a conscious decision to keep the epidemic secret as thousands of Chinese citizens were dying, thus allowing for the global spread of the disease.
But, as documented above, the reckless endangerment of life is simply ‘business as usual’ for China.
