On Friday, Abdulrahman Ali, a Somali national, who came to this country as yet another so-called ‘refugee,’ refused to show up in court for his formal arraignment. Two days earlier, deputies caught him in the act of sexually assaulting a female employee at a truck stop in North Dakota.
On Dec. 2, around 6:00 a.m., Cass County deputies responded to an “assault in progress” call at Gordy’s Travel Plaza in Mapleton. The woman was being held against her will inside a restroom, according to a police report.
The initial report states:
Deputies had to kick the door open, and, when entry was made, Ali was seen standing in the center of the room naked.
While speaking, Ali uttered “Allah Akbar.”
The victim’s ordeal began, when Ali went behind the counter, grabbed her and forced her into the woman’s bathroom, according to another female employee.
The sexual assault was brutal, as the woman was kicked and slapped several times. At one point, while trying to escape, Ali slammed the woman into the wall.
Before Ali attempted to penetrate his victim, he inexplicably stuffed “chewing tobacco in her ears,” according to an investigator’s report.
The victim suffered numerous cuts and bruises, and was transported to a local medical center for treatment. She also stated that during the assault, Ali repeatedly chanted “Allah Akbar.”
Ali has been charged with gross sexual imposition, kidnapping, aggravated assault, and two counts of terrorizing. He is currently being held at the Cass County Jail without bond.
Ali has reportedly been in this country for four years, and was assisted in his migration to this country by either Lutheran Social Services or Catholic Family Services, two of the nine contractors used by the U.S. State Department to resettle so-called ‘refugees’ in this country.
