Though it should not, it still amazes this writer when going through the daily reports of crimes committed by illegal aliens, only to see either the accused or convicted felon described as “a North Carolina man,” or “a Houston man,” etc., when the suspect in question has been deported back to Mexico, say, half a dozen times. How can that “man” to whom the reporter refers, be “a North Carolina man,” when he is in fact, a Mexican national?
Of course, no reference is ordinarily offered by the mainstream media (MSM) to the fact that the criminal is actually a criminal alien. However, when it is revealed that a truly heinous crime such as rape, child molestation, or murder has been committed by someone whose very presence in this country is, in itself, a crime, the story rarely receives any attention from the national press, and merely merits scant coverage by local newspapers and network affiliates.
A few years ago, when a group of “Angel Moms” appeared at a press conference with President Trump, and mentioned this website, the response from Washington Post columnist Dana Milbank was to immediately smear this author’s work as a “rabbit hole of white supremacism.”
However, perhaps the most egregious example of the left-wing press attempting to protect a criminal alien came during last year’s trial and conviction of 20-year-old Mollie Tibbetts’ killer…
On May 30, 2021, a Scott County jury found Christian Bahena-Rivera, 26, guilty of first-degree murder in the 2018 grisly slaying of 20-year-old University of Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts.
On July 18, 2018, Bahena-Rivera drove past Tibbetts as she was out jogging, he stopped his vehicle, and approached her. After she rebuffed his sexual advances, he became angry and stabbed her as many as a dozen times, hiding her body in a cornfield.
The illegal alien confessed his unthinkable crime to detectives, but later claimed that “two masked men” killed Tibbetts and “forced” him to place her lifeless body in his car and help them dispose of her remains. This, despite the mountain of overwhelming evidence against him, including surveillance video of Bahena-Rivera following Tibbetts in his car.
Of course, the jury didn't buy his fantastic story, and he was sentenced to life in prison a few months after being found guilty.
While the majority of Americans would feel nothing but disdain and contempt for this brazen killer, who for all intents and purposes invaded this nation, the American news media seems to have embraced the murderer.
The day he was convicted the following headlines could be found across the internet:
The Daily Beast, CBS News, Yahoo News, The Washington Post and even local Iowa affiliates all followed suit, failing to place the sobering, correct term “illegal alien” in their headlines, and reducing Mollie Tibbetts to a “student” or even more absurdly to a mere “runner.”
The closest any of the MSM outlets could come to accurately describing the killer was London-based news agency Reuters, which described Bahena-Rivera in their headline as a “Mexican Farmworker.”
However, the most egregious action taken on behalf of this cowardly murderer was likely perpetrated by ABC News. The first week of the trial the political/news organization ran the headline, “Boyfriend Denies Role In Iowa College Student’s 2018 Slaying.”
The article went on to discuss how the 23-year-old Army sergeant had once “cheated” on Tibbetts, and before joining the military, he would sometimes “get into fights.” All written in a disgusting attempt to cast aspersions on a young man who is still heartbroken over losing his sweetheart in such an unspeakable manner, while attempting to divert attention away from the foreign invader.
Mollie Cecilia Tibbetts was a psychology major and worked at a daycare center at Grinell Regional Medical Center, while attending classes at the University of Iowa. She was a daughter, a granddaughter, a sister, and a friend. Of course, all of the MSM reports left most of these facts about her life out of their one-sided reports.
This aforementioned case, begs the question: Why does the American news media seem to feel nothing but contempt for Americans, and nothing but loyalty to criminal aliens?
