WEBB COUNTY, TX - On Sunday, U.S. Border Patrol agents spotted Miguel Gonzalez-Guel, 30, hiding in the brush close to Laredo, near Highway 83.
Once in custody, it was discovered that the illegal alien is a registered sex offender. In 2016, he was convicted of indecency with a child with sexual contact.
He was deported shortly after his conviction.
Gonzalez-Guel has been charged with felony illegal reentry, and is currently being held at a federal detention center, pending trial.
