SAN MATEO, CA – On September 29, police arrested Wai Kit Ching, 29, after receiving a call from the Eden Prairie Police Department in Minnesota, claiming that the suspect had tried to get pornographic images of a minor online.
Since 2018, Ching has been using the fictitious name of “Alicia Harris,” a 15-year-old girl, to contact hundreds of boys on Instagram “for the purpose of soliciting photos of their genitalia and videos of them masturbating for his own sexual gratification,” according to court documents.

Ching, described as a Chinese national, confessed and was arrested, police said.
Police said Ching targeted white juvenile males ages of 12 to 15 with blonde or light brown hair.
Ching has been charged with seven counts of lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14, eight counts of contacting a minor with intent to commit a felony, one count of possession of child pornography, and seven enhancements of the one strike law for sex offenses.
The case is ongoing and investigators believe he may have many more victims.
In addition to “Alicia Harris,” Ching has also used the Instagram handles @alchas04 and @alchas04_priv.
