Immigrant Convicted Of Molesting His Own Children, Stripped Of U.S. Citizenship

Greensboro, NC - On January 19, Vyacheslav Fyodorovitch Rizkhov, age 44, was found guilty in federal court of unlawful procurement of naturalization.

Rizkhov, who came to this country from Azerbaijan, obtained U.S. citizenship through fraudulent means by lying about his criminal history on his application.

A press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office stated:

In response to the question, “Have you ever committed, assisted in committing, or attempted to commit, a crime or offense for which you were not arrested?” Rizkhov answered, “No.”
However, on March 6, 2020, in the Superior Court of North Carolina in Cabarrus County, Rizkhov was convicted of sexual battery of a physically helpless person and two counts of indecent liberties with a child. Rizkhov was sentenced to a suspended term of imprisonment of between 16 and 29 months and ordered to register as a sex offender.

Rizkhov’s three victims were actually his own children. They were molested over a period of at least three years, according to court documents.

He has been stripped of his U.S. citizenship.

Rizkhov could face up to 10 years in federal prison, when he is sentenced on June 30, 2022.
