Illegal Alien Sentenced To Less Than Two Years In Prison For Molesting Child Will Not Be Deported

Updated: Mar 10, 2022

Name: Kevin Ayala-Ramirez Age: 22 Date of Conviction: 02/28/2022 Location: Buncombe County, NC Charge(s): Indecent Liberties with a Child

*Last week, Ayala-Ramirez was convicted and sentenced in Buncombe County District Court. He was arrested on December 20, 2020, and after being given credit for time served, was given a release date of September 5, 2022.

He has no ICE hold, as Buncombe County is now a 'sanctuary' for criminal aliens, and he is serving out his sentence in the county jail.

Upon taking office in 2019, Sheriff Quentin Miller announced that his office would no longer cooperate with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and would stop honoring ICE detainers in his county's jail.

The policy immediately transformed Buncombe County into a 'sanctuary' for criminal aliens, and has been met with harsh criticism from federal authorities, as Sheriff Miller has even allowed illegal aliens charged with child sex crimes to go free on bail.
