*Tobar-Medrano was arrested on September 23, 2020, and charged with statutory rape and statutory sex offense with a child and booked into the Wake County Jail and given bail.
Since then, he has also been charged two counts of second-degree rape, indecent liberties with a child and first-degree kidnapping, all in Wake County.
Then, on Friday, Tobar-Medrano was arrested by Wake County sheriff's deputies, as warrants for his arrest had been issued by the Chatham County Sheriff's Office for second-degree rape, human trafficking and sexual servitude.
