SAN ANTONIO, TX - On Tuesday, police arrested Jose Luis Gloria, 23, after a 14-year-old girl became pregnant, following an alleged sexual assault by Gloria at a local elementary school.
Gloria met the victim through a social media site and after talking for about three months, Gloria convinced the girl to meet him in the parking lot of the school, according to court documents.
The two had sex in Gloria's car, at which time she became impregnated.
The San Antonio Express-News reported:
“After the baby was born in December, police obtained samples from Gloria and the child to test for paternity. It was later determined that Gloria was the father, the affidavit said.”
Despite the DNA evidence against him, Gloria denied the allegations.
Gloria has been charged with sexual assault of a child. He is currently being held at the Bexar County Jail on $50,000 bond.
