GREENVILLE, NC (WITN) – Four men have been charged with trafficking cocaine in a drug operation that deputies say netted them more than two kilos of uncut cocaine.
Pitt County deputies say the two month long undercover investigation ended with the four arrests during a take-down operation.
*Francisco Fierro-Benitez, 30, has been charged with two counts of trafficking cocaine by sell/deliver and maintaining a vehicle for drug use.
*Moncerrato Ledezma-Belmares, 44, was arrested on two counts of trafficking cocaine by sell/delivery.
*Jaime Anguino-Salazar, 25, had been charged with two counts of trafficking cocaine by sell/delivery and felony possession of cocaine.
*Jaime Salazar, 44, was arrested for two counts of trafficking cocaine by sell/deliver and possession of controlled substances inside jail premises.
All four men are being held on $2 million bonds.
Deputies say the two kilos were purchased during the investigation and say more arrests may be pending.
