Illegal Alien Repeatedly Raped Young Girl In New Jersey

FLEMINGTON, NJ (The Hunterdon Review) – Jose Luis Zuna-Santander, 25, of Flemington, was arrested and charged on Wednesday, Nov. 16, with one count each of first degree aggravated sexual assault and third degree endangering the welfare of a child, authorities said.

The arrest was the result of a joint investigation by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Flemington Borough Police Department, according to Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns III, Chief of Detectives John J. Kuczynski and Flemington Borough Police Lieutenant Jerry Rotella.

The investigation by detectives from the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Flemington Borough Police Department revealed that from 2014 to 2016, the defendant engaged in sex acts with a child under the age of 16, Kearns said.

State Superior Court Judge Julie Marin set bail on the defendant at $300,000, and Zuna-Santander was lodged in the Somerset County Jail awaiting his first court appearance, Kearns said.
