ROMA, TX (CBS 4) – Border Patrol agents arrested a woman with a murder conviction Saturday near Roma — just 24 days after the federal government deported her to El Salvador.
Agents arrested Lingdhy Dayanara Molina-Opico on Saturday near Roma, according to the federal criminal complaint against her.
“The defendant claims to have illegally entered the United States on July 30, 2016, near Roma, Texas,” according to the criminal complaint. “Record checks revealed the defendant was formally deported/excluded from the United States on July 6, 2016, through Phoenix, Arizona.”
The record check also revealed Molina was convicted of second-degree murder in August 2005 and sentenced to 11 years in prison.
Court records don’t list an attorney for Molina, who remains in federal custody.
