FORSYTH COUNTY, NC (The Winston-Salem Journal) – Winston-Salem police have arrested four people on drug offenses after investigators found illegal drugs valued at $800,000 at two houses, authorities said Wednesday.
Investigators executed search warrants on Nov. 3 at 233 Boned Street and 234 Styers Road and found 5.32 grams of marijuana, 30.6 grams of crack cocaine, 3,084 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 86.6 grams of heroin, and an AK-47 assault rifle, police said.
Fabrizio Aboite Cruz, 31, of Colorado Springs, Colo. was charged with trafficking in heroin and other offenses; Marco Antonio Sandoval Astorga, 34, of Styers Road in Winston-Salem was charged with conspiring to traffic in heroin and trafficking in methamphetamine; Eunice Galvan Hernandez, 28, of Styers Road was charged with conspiring to traffic in heroin; and Shun Lamont Gibbs, 47, of Bond Street was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police said.
All four people were taken to the Forsyth County Jail, police said. Cruz was being held on a $1 million bond, and Astorga was being held on $1.5 million bond.
No bond information was available Wednesday night for Gibbs and Hernandez.
