FAYETTEVILLE, AR (KNWA) – A Fayetteville man will spend more than 35 years behind bars after pleading guilty to Arson and Attempted Murder.

32-year-old Nicholas Rodriguez set fire to his home in 2015, while three kids and three adults were still inside.

Rodriguez admitted to pouring gasoline in the doorways and lighting it, in an attempt to trap the two families inside.

Everyone escaped unharmed.
