More Than 5,000 Non-Citizens Caught On Virginia’s Voter Rolls

ImmigrationReform.com press release…

Virginia election officials quietly removed 5,556 voters for being non-citizens, and a new investigation suggests it’s just the tip of the iceberg.

The Public Interest Legal Foundation, partnering with the Virginia Voters Alliance, found that non-citizens in the Old Dominion voted 7,474 times between 2011 and May 2017.

“Virginia election officials routinely fail to alert law enforcement about these illegal votes or registrations,” PILF president and general counsel J. Christian Adams charged in a new report, “Alien Invasion.”

Edgardo Cortes, commissioner of the Virginia Department of Elections, discounted PILF’s concerns, saying the information on illegal voters was “readily available on our website.”

But the state site showed only 1,531 non-citizens being removed from Virginia’s voting rolls.

Adams said his group expended 100 hours rooting out illegal voters. He accused Gov. Terry McAuliffe’s administration of blocking election-integrity legislation.

McAuliffe this year vetoed SB 1581, which would have required local registrars to verify incoming voter applications against state and federal databases, including Social Security records.

The Democratic governor also vetoed SB 872, which would have applied voter-ID protocols to absentee balloting.

“The number of registered non-citizens in Virginia thus far identified by this investigation is just the tip of the iceberg,” PILF stated in its report.

According to 2016 U.S. Census estimates, some 474,000 voting-age non-citizens reside in Virginia. “Each of these individuals can make their way onto the voting rolls by simply checking the wrong box during a visit to the DMV. The true extent of the problem likely runs in the tens of thousands, if not more,” PILF asserted.

Last year, FAIR reported that America’s voter registration system is “susceptible to abuse by non-citizens.”

Reagan George, director of the nonpartisan Virginia Voters Alliance, said his group continues to scour – any may sue — counties where registered voters outnumber the voting-age population.

The McAuliffe administration has done everything it could to drag this out. Trying to get a local Democratic prosecutor to act is next to impossible,” he said.

  1. Dear sir/madam: Will you please look into why federal and state hate crime charges are not filed in these and many other cases? These are veterans who deserve justice. I have attempted to contact USDOJ, White House, US and State Representatives many times over the past few years and never even get a response, let alone an answer.

88-year-old WWII veteran beaten to death by black teenagers
NBC News Saturday, 24 August 2013
    Delbert Belton
IS THIS WHAT HE FOUGHT FOR? — Delbert Belton was wounded while serving in combat on Okinawa during the Second World War. Now this old veteran was targeted for vicious assault and killing by two young African-American savages.
SPOKANE, Wash. — A 16-year-old male was charged as an adult with first-degree murder Friday and a second was being sought in the robbery and death of an 88-year-old World War II veteran, who was brutally beaten to death in Spokane, Wash.
Demetrius Glenn, accompanied by his lawyer, turned himself in to police Thursday night, police said. He will appear in court Monday on charges of first-degree murder and first-degree robbery in the savage assault Wednesday night on Delbert “Shorty” Belton, who was found wedged between the seats of his car in the parking lot of an Eagles lodge in North Spokane.
Belton suffered severe blunt force injuries to his head and torso and died Thursday morning in what the Spokane County medical examiner’s office ruled was a homicide.
Not a hate crime: Police chief
Spokane police said Friday that the second suspect, Kenan D. Adams-Kinard, 16, should be considered extremely dangerous.
Police urged the public to help them find [the suspect], also 16, who they said was recorded on surveillance camera footage with Glenn on Wednesday night. They said Adams-Kinard should be considered extremely dangerous, and that anyone spotting him should steer clear of him and call 911 immediately.
The suspects are black and Belton was white, but Spokane Police Chief Frank Straub said race didn’t appear to be a factor in the attack.
“These are two individuals who for whatever reason went out on a given night to rob someone,” Straub said. “They robbed him, they beat him, and they killed him.”
    Battered beyond recognition
Belton’s daughter-in-law, Barbara Belton, told NBC News that doctors said his face was battered so badly that they couldn’t stop the bleeding.
“That was no way to have to die,” she said. “They said even if he had survived, there probably would have been brain damage. It was horrendous.”
She said her father-in-law wouldn’t have been carrying more than $150 on him when he drove up to the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #2.
“Who beats an 88-year-old man in the face?” she said.
    Active and generous man
At the lodge, a makeshift memorial overflowed with flowers, US flags and messages of sympathy as friends remembered Belton as an active and generous man who had been widowed for about six years. A candlelight vigil was scheduled for 8:30 p.m. (11:30 p.m. ET) Friday at the lodge.
“He was outstanding,” said Alberta Tosh, Belton’s sister. “He went dancing. He worked on cars all the time. He would help anyone who needed help.”
Linda Herde, a family friend, told NBC station KHQ of Spokane that Belton “had a heart of gold.”
“There wasn’t a thing he wouldn’t do for anybody,” she added. “He’d give you the shirt off his back.”
    ‘He saved my life’
Great-nephew Allen Hills told KHQ that when he hit bottom about 10 years ago in California — where he was unemployed and sleeping on his mother’s sofa — Belton stepped in with the offer of a car and a new life in Washington.
“It seems trivial, but he really did save my life,” Hills said. “He made it possible for me to get a job and find work.”
Ted Denison, another friend, called Belton “a tough old bird” who was shot in the leg in the 1945 Battle of Okinawa. His experiences in the war didn’t appear to have dampened Belton’s instinct to help others, Denison said.
“He was always there any time I needed anything,” Denison told KHQ.
    ‘Kids today … ‘
Barbara Belton said Glenn, the suspected who’s in custody, was “awfully young” to be involved in such a terrible crime.
“Kids today, they think they can do whatever they want, and it doesn’t matter. Kids do this kind of stuff and end up in jail and probably end up worse when they come out.”
Belton died the same day another Spokane man was killed in a confrontation with police. On Friday, police were in a standoff with a gunman at a pawn shop.
Police said violent crime was down 2 percent over the previous year, and Straub called the death of Belton an anomaly.
    Glenn & Kinard
ARROGANT YOUNG PUNKS — Suspects in the vicious killing of Delbert Belton, Demetrius Glenn (l) and Kenan Adams-Kinard (r), mug it up for the camera in these earlier poses. Was theirs really a “random act of violence,” or were they playing the popular African-American “knockout game” against whites when they assaulted the 88-year-old WWII veteran?
“It is very, very infrequent in Spokane that we have a random act of violence,” he said.

Decorated Marine veteran Christopher Marquez was eating dinner in Washington, D.C., last Friday, when, reportedly, he was viciously attacked by a gang of black teenagers, who asked the war hero if he believes black lives matter.
“They asked me if I believe that black lives matter,” Marquez told WJLA-TV. “I felt threatened and as if they were trying to intimidate me, so I figured I would just keep eating my food. Because I wouldn’t respond back to them, they were calling me a racist.”
The incident took place at a McDonald’s restaurant at 911 E Street, NW, just blocks away from the White House.
“As soon as I walked out of the McDonald’s I got hit in the back of the head, or the side of the head,” Marquez, who served eight years in the Iraq War, including the battle of Fallujah, said. “I just dropped to the ground.”
Not far from where Marquez was assaulted on that frigid night, 35-year-old Michael Schroeder, also a Marine, was dragged between two cars in the Glover Park neighborhood and brutally beaten, his family told WUSA9. Police found him face down with his head beaten up and his cash missing.
(FOX)- Authorities were notified after a man and his son in a taxi saw Schroeder on the ground.
“It’s an angel whoever found him and I’m very, very grateful,” said Schroeder’s mother Diedre told the station. “Michael could’ve died that night.”
Schroeder was diagnosed with a fractured skill and a severe concussion. His family told WUSA9 Schroeder received staples in his head and could hardly speak to them in the hospital.
He said he didn’t know why the incident took place because he was “just trying to walk home.” Investigators said it was unrelated to the attack on Marquez.
A U.S. Army National Guard staff sergeant says he and one of his Army veteran friends were assaulted by Black Lives Matter supporters in San Antonio, Texas, Thursday Evening. “As I was getting my face stomped in and thrown through a window, they (all 4 of them) were yelling racial slurs saying how whites sucked and black lives were better,” Mark Stephen, the second victim, said on Facebook.
Stephen went on to say the San Antonio police were of little help and that they two veterans had to Uber to the hospital. He did not say what his injuries were.

Staff Sergeant Zach Coe Johnson posted on Facebook, “If any of ya’ll believe in the black Lives matter Bulls**t you can visit me and my buddy in the hospital…..we got jumped for being prior military.”

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Three young men were arrested Tuesday after police said they beat up a Navy veteran who asked them to stop torturing a turtle, according to Daytona Beach police.
A woman was walking her toddler around a pond at Wedgewood Apartments and told police she saw three men torturing a turtle. She went home and told her husband, Gary Blough, they were “smashing up a turtle.”
Blough went outside and said he saw a group of three men repeatedly abusing the animal, according to the police report.
“The one had it over his head and he was smashing it down on the sidewalk,” Blough said. “I asked them to please leave it alone, just let it go to the lake.”
One of the men, later identified at Johnnie Beveritt, 18, picked up the turtle and threw it down on the sidewalk; the two other men, Ryan Ponder, 23 and a 16-year-old boy, kicked the turtle toward the apartment building away from the pond, the witness told police.
Blough told police that the turtle was trying to crawl away but was seriously injured and unable to walk.
He told his wife to call the police after the suspects did not stop attacking the animal, according to the report. After that, two of the suspects struck Blough with their hands, fists and feet.
“They started hitting the back of my head and started punching me. I was able to fend off a little bit but I mean three of them, got the better of me,” he said.
Blough told them he did not want to fight, one of the attackers said “I don’t give a f—and I don’t care if I go to jail,” according to the arrest report.
    Turtle killing suspectsDaytona Beach Police
Ryan Ponder, 23, and Johnnie Beveritt, 18 are charged with beating a Navy veteran who tried to stop them from killing a turtle in Daytona Beach.
The suspects continued to beat Blough until neighbors came out and the suspects ran away.
A Daytona Beach police officer captured all three suspects and the victim’s wife positively identified them as the attackers, according to the report.
Blough told police he is a disabled veteran who was seriously injured in the Persian Gulf War. First responders said the victim suffered injuries during the attack including broken skull and facial bones, internal bleeding and a concussion. Police did not know how the injuries would affect him long term.
Blough’s wife set up a GoFundMe account to raise money for his extensive medical expenses. She said Blough will need surgery on his eye after the beating.
Blough said he hopes the men are punished for what they did and would intervene again, without a doubt.
“Yeah, I’d do it again and take the beating again if it meant saving that turtle,” he said.
Police found the turtle, dead, floating in the pond in a puddle of blood.
“The animal likely suffered greatly during the time it was being battered by the three defendants,” the officer wrote in the arrest report.
All three men are charged with aggravated battery and animal cruelty. News 6 is not identifying the 16-year-old.

Disabled Army Veteran Attacked in Cleveland Knockout Game
    by Robert Wilde14 Feb 2014822
A disabled veteran was attacked in the heart of downtown Cleveland, becoming the latest victim of the nationwide knockout game in which predominantly black teenagers assault unsuspecting citizens with punches to the face and head.
“What they were saying was, ‘Knock that boy out!’” U.S. Army veteran Matthew Robinson said. “‘White boy.’ ‘Cracker.’ They were saying, ‘Knock that white boy out.’”
Robinson was attacked, robbed, and taunted with racial slurs. According to CBS affiliate WOIO, the alleged perpetrators videotaped the incident.
Matthew, who is attending college, was riding a bus when the incident occurred and is helping Cleveland police identify his attackers. Six to eight teens surrounded him on the bus, followed him off, and started attacking him. The “punks” scattered when the police showed up.
“The whole time I’m just thinking pretty much just protect yourself and don’t let anybody get behind you. Nobody stepped in to help,” Robinson told CBS. According to WOIO, mobs of teens have been a problem in a city square, leading to a surfeit of police in order to take back the square. Last month, an African-American teen was brutally beaten.
“No one should have to deal with this kind of racism and ridicule,” Robinson further remarked. Robinson wants punishment for the perpetrators and to have his story be a warning to the people of Cleveland to stay on guard.
“I think there should be jail time for assault. I mean who is to say that your mother or your sister couldn’t be on the bus and the same thing could happen,” the veteran added. So far, police have found three of the alleged perpetrators, two males, 18 and 19-years old, and a 16-year old girl with a video of the attack on her phone.

Homeless Veteran Beaten by Teens on Camera, Dies
    by Trent Baker28 Nov 201590
A homeless veteran, beaten at a gas station in Pennsylvania nearly eight months ago, has died, according to ABC13.
The incident was caught on camera at a Sunoco gas station in April.
The surveillance video captured 51-year-old Robert Barnes being beaten by teens with a hammer, a piece of wood and punches, after police say a 10-year-old boy told his mother he got into an argument with Barnes.
The 10-year-old’s mother, 34-year-old Aleathea Gillard, has been charged in the case, along with 24-year-old Shareena Joachim. Also, three juveniles were arrested and charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and simple assault after the attack which left Barnes in a coma.
Police say those charges could be upgraded to murder after the district attorney returns from the Thanksgiving holiday.

White Marine Beaten by Black Mob in Michael Brown ‘Revenge’ Attack
Police refuse to treat incident as a hate crime

White Marine Beaten by Black Mob in Michael Brown ‘Revenge’ Attack
A white Marine was left in an induced coma after a group of black men brutally beat him as part of a revenge attack in response to the killing of 18-year-old Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri.
The incident began at West Point Waffle House in Mississippi on Saturday morning at around 1am. With his friend Ralph Weems already inside the restaurant, David Knighten was approached outside by another diner who told him they should leave because a group of black men were “upset by the killing of 18-year-old Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, and it wasn’t a safe place for whites,” Knighten told the Associated Press.
When Knighten entered the diner, he found 32-year-old Iraq war veteran Weems already engaged in a heated argument with the group of black men. The police were called and Knighten and Weems left and headed for a Huddle House restaurant on the way to Weems’ house.
However, after apparently having been followed by a mob of 20 men, Knighten exited the restroom to find Weems surrounded. After a security guard asked everyone to leave, Knighten was blocked from getting out of the restaurant but when he was eventually able to exit he witnessed Weems down on the ground being beaten.
Knighten, who served with the Air Force in Afghanistan, was also attacked, suffering broken bones in his face, a blood clot in his right eye and a cut over his left eye. While Weems was being beaten, Knighten heard “racial slurs” being yelled by the crowd.
Police were called to the scene at 2am but the mob had already left. Despite the context of the argument and the yelling of racial slurs, Police Chief Tim Brinkley said the incident wasn’t being treated as a hate crime.
“This does not appear to be a hate crime,” Brinkley said in the press release. “We are investigating this as an aggravated assault. It’s very early in this investigation but thus far the evidence and statements suggest that a verbal altercation turned physical and somebody got hurt.”
Weems received life threatening injuries and had to be put in a medically induced coma following brain surgery at North Mississippi Medical Center.
The fact that the beating isn’t being treated as a hate crime despite it clearly having racial connotations will anger many who have expressed concerns that black on white crime is being downplayed in the name of political correctness.
“To imagine how insane that statement is, just reverse “Black” and “White” in the story above, and imagine how quickly Al Sharpton and Eric Holder would be on a plane to Mississippi. This is just despicable,” writes Jason DeWitt.
