MISSION, TX (CBS 4 News) – Border Patrol agents arrested a Mexican man on Thursday — just six days after the federal government deported him.

Agents arrested 43-year-old Gabriel Liahut-Hernandez near Mission.

On Oct. 13, 2015, Liahut was convicted of sexual battery and sentenced to 910 days in prison, according to the federal criminal complaint against him.

“Record checks revealed the Defendant was formally Deported/Excluded from the United States on April 7, 2017, through Hidalgo, Texas,” according to the criminal complaint.

Liahut apparently returned six days later. He’s now charged with illegal re-entry.

Court records don’t list an attorney for Liahut, who remains in federal custody and couldn’t be reached for comment.

  1. Thank all of you democrats for allowing these people into our country. Thank you Obama for NOT enforcing laws on the books.

  2. Wasn’t Trump supposed to put an end to all these scrum ?? Where are all the deportations he PROMISED ?? He is too busy planning to fire American federal employees and cut our SS to deal with these rapists and murderers.
