Filipino National Bit, Strangled, Sexually Assaulted Woman In New York

NEW YORK CITY, NY (The New York Post) – A Filipino energy executive with a biting fetish was convicted Tuesday of choking and sexually abusing his much younger Korean girlfriend while they were on a New York vacation.

It took the jury less than a day to find Terence Tang, 37, guilty of the Oct. 26, 2017, attack, which the defense described as a rough sex tryst gone terribly wrong.

Tang, wearing a navy suit, was promptly cuffed and taken into custody.

During the Manhattan Supreme Court trial, the 25-year-old woman told jurors that after a night of drinking, the two returned to their Airbnb and fooled around.

But during foreplay Tang started to chomp on her, sinking his teeth into her inner thigh, arm and hip, she told jurors through a Korean interpreter. The panel was shown pictures of her inflamed skin imprinted with teeth marks.

After the woman told Tang to stop biting her, he pinned her down, put his fingers inside her then strangled her as she tried to break free. “I thought I was going to die,” she said, tearfully.

After shoving him off of her, she fled to the bathroom, where she messaged “Save me!” to a friend, who called the cops.

The victim repeatedly told him to stop but he refused to listen, prosecutor Hannah Yu said in her closing statement. “He didn’t care that she was crying, he didn’t care that she was pushing him off,” she said.

Defense lawyer Todd Spodek argued that all Tang was trying to do was get frisky with his girlfriend of three months.

Tang often fantasized about biting her in WhatsApp messages, and once she even replied with the Korean equivalent of LOL.

“His intent was to fool around with his girlfriend, just like they did every other night in the same fashion — in a fashion that you might not like but that’s their business,” the attorney said of their kinky hookups.

The defendant, who runs Tang International Enterprises in the Philippines, is due back in court Aug. 22 for sentencing. He faces up to seven years in prison.
