Mexican Meth Dealers Caught In North Carolina

CARTHAGE, NC (The Fayetteville Observer) – An undercover drug operation resulted in the Tuesday arrests of two men and the seizure of two pounds of methamphetamine, the Moore County Sheriff’s Office said.

German Alvarez Mendoza, 41, of the 200 block of Cooper Store Road in Sanford, and Federico Alvarez Mendoza, 36, of the 1700 block of Cameron Hill Road in Cameron, are charged with three counts each of conspiring to traffic in methamphetamine.

German Mendoza also is charged with possessing maintaining a drug dwelling, possessing a controlled substance with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He also is being held on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainer. His bail was set at $250,000.

Federico Mendoza’s bail was set at $200,000.
