LEXINGTON, NC (WXII) – Three people were arrested Tuesday after authorities issued search warrants on two Davidson County homes and seized numerous drugs, weapons, and cash.
The operation was done by the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office Vice / Narcotics Unit, the United States Drug Enforcement Administration and the Lexington Police Department.
After a search warrant executed at 2015 Belmont Road in Linwood, investigators seized a firearm and drug paraphernalia.
Juan Arias was arrested and charged with trafficking heroin, sell/or deliver heroin, possession with intent to sell heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. Juan was placed in the Davidson County jail under a $2,500,000.00 secured bond.
Juan Rodriguez was arrested and charged with two counts of sell heroin, two counts of maintaining a vehicle to keep a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Rodriguez was placed in the Davidson County jail under a $1,500,000.00 secured bond.
After a search warrant executed at 808 Frank Hulin Road in Lexington, investigators seized heroin, methamphetamine, six firearms, US currency, counterfeit US currency and drug paraphernalia.
Julian Arias was arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell or deliver heroin, possession of counterfeit currency, possession of drug paraphernalia and storing a firearm in a location accessible by a minor. Julian was placed in the Davidson County jail under a $100,000.00 secured bond.
“During the investigation investigators seized approximately 30 grams of heroin, .2 grams of methamphetamine, seven firearms, $3,700 in counterfeit currency, items of drug paraphernalia and $12,405.00 in US currency,” a press release said.
All three are scheduled to appear in Davidson County district court on September 28,.
