BEAUFORT COUNTY, NC (WITN) – An Eastern Carolina man is facing multiple drug charges after deputies say they found black tar heroin during a traffic stop.
Beaufort County deputies arrested Candelario Zepeda on Sunday.
The 40-year-old man from Belhaven was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin, possession with intent to sell and deliver hydrocodone, possession of suboxone, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Deputies say the man’s arrest came after they made controlled buys of black tar heroin and hydrocodone prescription pills from him.
Zepeda was jailed on an $11,500 secured bond.
